Week 1 Reflection

I thought the first week of class went well.  We went through the syllabus and were told what to expect from the class.  I feel like this class will be a great learning experience and it will prepare us for when we have our own classroom.  I am looking forward to learning about the newsletter project.  I have never written something like that and I am looking forward to gaining experience with it.  I am also looking forward to our family conference simulations.  I feel like that will be a nice, safe way to practice for actual future family conferences.  

I like that this class focuses on family involvement in the classroom because that is something I very strongly believe in.  I am excited to learn new ways to get families involved with their children's education.  Overall, I believe that this class will be a good experience and very helpful and I can't wait to see how the rest of the semester will go.
